Bats and Cats Ball 2008

5 11 2008

batscats21This year’s Bat and Cats Ball was a huge success! The Bats and Cats Ball, which took place on Sunday, October 26th, is an annual Halloween event for children and families put on by the Austin Children’s Museum.

The event began with an outdoor parade in downtown Austin from City Hall to the museum. The parade, which included jugglers, tumblers, and drummers, was a chance for everyone to show off their costumes!

Once at the museum, children were able to take part in a wide variety of fun Halloween activities! Activities included face painting, making polymer slime, having eyeball races, and making tootsie pop ghosts! Kids and families could even get their picture taken in front of an awesome Bats and Cats backdrop! It was a great way to start off the week of Halloween!
